Social Democrats, USA takes internet security very seriously and is in review committee for additional on-line donation areas and means that an individual may wish to address. Membership dues are not accepted on-line as the membership form must be signed and additional information included that cannot be sent over the internet. Dues of a member only address the workings of the basic office, phone, rent, office supplies, mailings. Please consider giving to other areas of need if and when time and money allow. In the future working plans there will be added a general campaign donation link as well as links to those candidates' websites. A Sustainer is a person who gives without membership to the party itself but supports the ideals, platform, and association with the Socialist International. These monies are placed in a general fund towards our dues with the international and any basic needs that may arise as a rainy day fund. | Website only donations - Helps to support the expansion of this general and basic service to the Voters. The best way to defeat Hackers, Phishers is not to send personal information on-line. Donations to our 501 (c) (4) may not be tax deductible. ** By election law's of many states and sunshine transparency of democracy donor's information is required.

Ballot Access - An important part of elections and growing any party is getting on the ballot which brings about awareness to the Voters. Review your own state's election laws. Than devise a plan to address this issue in accordance with the law to help bring recognition to social democracy in your state. Coming soon:
| Electors - After ballot access is gained than there is the process of finding additional Electors. This group of Voters must be registered to vote as Social Democrats in some way meeting their respective states' requirements. The persons chosen/elected for this duty is one of great honor as they may one day vote to pick the next President of the United States of America. | Service - Ever think about standing up in a real way to the status quo? Than give time to shaping the next major party by helping to shape geopolitical policy. What we need are those few brave souls to act as functionaries for:

Our current projects list is always updated or changed around by priority which also requires members to join and share the workload.
National Convention 2009: Locations are up for bid for the Social Democrats, USA national convention in Philadelphia, PA.
Socialist International: Please remember that dues and donations proportionality go towards helping the Social Democrats, USA in retaining its seat at the Socialist International Council meetings normally held in the EU and for your Representative to use that chair on your behalf.

In the National Office: New computers are needed for editing of newsletters, pamphlets, websites, recording minutes. General office supplies and equipment are also in need. Please keep in mind that objects snail mailed or shipped are considered "In-kind" contributions and also requires the same information as a monies donated along with a copy of receipt of purchase.
In the Pressroom: Currently there is a bid on publications while within the Social Democrats, USA talk of self, labor donated, production by obtaining our own facility might be prudent means costwise. Members wanting the Editor's position can submit their resume to the national office.
