To date, Tuesday, 8 July 2008 the National Executive Committee of Social Democrats USA has agreed that Points of Unity are needed for the national level of formation for an up swelling of voters - to action - from the bottom up to create a proper social democracy by leading examples. Many 'hot button' issues will remain with the branches, locals, and their chosen candidates at their respective places. To address 'hot button' issues outside of this can be divisive to social democracy on the whole as noticed in many Leftists groupings and parties.
Points that have been loosely agreed to by vote without being finalized by convention:
Each state, local, or branch of social democracy is encouraged to open their own website to reflect views from their area's meeting points of unity and disagreements open for later thereabouts discussing and voting. If opening a website is a problem SDoA is more than willing to help by creating a page with your Branch information for events, meeting and local campaign news.
Often times meetings are one sided or too limited due to either regional concerns or a lack of ability to address these issues. In true social democratic spirit we should all be the same but the fact is we are not. Each state acts as its own country when addressing European Union like concerns, we work in commonwealth. Do not let one state or another social democratic formation dictate policy to another, only agree to those points that have come about by respect and trust. Social democratic theory is held above all as being 100% democratic and 100% freewill all towards a goal. When a goal does not match; than, said goal cannot become part of a national level of governance.
If, on the state level, there is disagreement than create as many locals as needed until there are points of agreement to make a State Executive Committee and the same is true for a Local that would normally be in a larger city. They can be broken down into Branch offices as the amount of persons is greater so opinions are likewise greater in number. Social democracy only works from the ground up and only with points agreed to by all at each level. All other historical Socialistic movements have failed because of poor human nature not to follow natural law of being a human being from the start.
The Fist & Rose is a caucus of pro-internationalists in Social Democrats USA rooted in the social democratic tradition of our party and in democratic left movements around the world. Social democracy is the movement that has given workers shorter work weeks, national health care, and equality of political participation in much of the world. Our interest is in bringing these tangible improvements to our own failing society. We embrace this proven model of social change through hard work, and reject the prevailing tactic of "Revolution through Resolution." Seeking to expand the Socialist movement through reform of capitalism and the political rule it enjoys, by means of a bottom-up grass roots democracy that puts the needs of working families at the forefront of the economy, politico, and other basic needs for the proper design of safe and civil society. As such, we believe that by embracing diversity, rather than dissuading members who express creative thoughts and ideas, is the key to building a solid movement, free of dogma, that can succeed in placing middle class and working poor interests first.

The Christian Socialist Movement USA is composed of Christian Social and Democratic Christian's both within the Social Democrats USA organizational structure. The purpose in part is to bring in a positive Christian thought process and energy not causing a biased divide but rather understanding with or through dialogue first without a hardened ideology stance. Our small group outreach will be networking between the Socialist International's religious community and the Christian Socialist Movement as time and efforts allow.

Founded in August of 1991 after much effort to create a success story like the German and French Green parties. For ten years, the Greens USA was known as the "Green Party USA."
1996, a moderate GP-USA faction, frustrated that the party's radical politics were not winning converts, formed the Association of State Green Parties (ASGP). After an angry battle for power, the ASGP won, pulling in much more support than the older GP-USA.
2000, Pacific Green Party is a member of the US federation of state green parties. PGP candidates have won elected office mostly at the local level. Pacific Greens emphasize grass-roots democracy, social justice, non-violence, environmentalism, decentralization, and local autonomy in keeping with the Green parties' endorsement of the Ten Key Values.

The Working Families Party (WFP) is New York’s liveliest and most progressive political party. Formed by a grassroots coalition of community organizations, neighborhood activists, and labor unions, we came together build a society that works for all of us, not just the wealthy and well-connected.
We fight to hold politicians accountable on the issues working- and middle-class families care about, like good jobs, fair taxes, good schools, reliable public transportation, affordable housing, and universal health-care.
